Sam Beam is a singer-songwriter who has been creating music as Iron & Wine for more than a decade. Through the course of five albums, numerous EPs and singles, Iron & Wine has captured the emotion and imagination of listeners with distinctly cinematic songs. He will be performing with a full band for MidPoint, featuring songs from the entire back catalog and debuting new ones. Read more

Bands and artists now have the opportunity to apply for a showcase at this year’s MidPoint Point Music Festival. The festival, scheduled September 24–26, 2015, aims to continue a tradition of promoting new music discovery while celebrating music pioneers.
Artists need to submit an electronic press kit for showcase consideration. The submission process will be open Wednesday, February 18 through Sunday, May 17, 2015. Details can be found on MPMF.com. A press kit must have three original songs, along with essential information and a photo to help promote artists.
