The Forecastle Festival will return this summer led by Louisville hometown heroes My Morning Jacket; soulful breakout star, Sam Smith; southern rock heavyweights, Widespread Panic; and indie veterans, Modest Mouse. The three-day music celebration, now in its 13th year, will take place July 17–19, 2015, at the award-winning Waterfront Park, a sweeping green space on the banks of the Ohio River framed by the skyline of downtown Louisville.
Hailing from Bowling Green, Kentucky, and New Albany, Indiana, respectively, Cage the Elephantand Houndmouth add to the stellar regional talent atop this year’s Forecastle bill, the former currently working on their follow-up to the Grammy-nominated Melophobia and the latter eyeing a March 17 release of the highly-anticipated Little Neon Limelight via Rough Trade Records. Wick-It the Instigator and Eliot Lipp will kick off the late night shows on Friday, July 12. Saturday, July 13 will bring up-and-comers Houndmouth hosting a night with special guests Night Beds, The Wheeler Brothers and more.

The 2013 Bourbon Lodge will feature over 12 Kentucky Bourbon brands uniting to offer over 30 Bourbon selections, including Four Roses, Maker’s Mark, Woodford Reserve, Old Forrester, Early Times, Willet, Old Pogue, Heaven Hill, Corsair Distillery, Wild Turkey, Town Branch and Jim Beam, among others. LOUISVILLE, KY – The Forecastle Festival has announced its daily lineup and will offer single day tickets beginning Friday, April 12 at Noon EDT through ForecastleFest.com, Ticketmaster.com and all Ticketmaster retailers.
A limited number of $60 single-day tickets will be available. Prices include all applicable fees and service charges. A limited number of weekend passes are currently available for $165, but will increase to $180 when the current allotment is gone. Both tiers of weekend passes are expected to sell out in advance of the festival.

The event will again take place July 12 – 14, 2013 at Louisville’s scenic, award-winning Waterfront Park.
Robert Plant and his amazing new group of conspirators the Sensational Space Shifters will be performing songs from every era of Plant’s storied career. Before his recent projects in Nashville with Alison Krauss and Band of Joy, Plant worked alongside the very interesting force, “Strange Sensation,” recording the critically acclaimed, multi-Grammy nominated albums “Dreamland” and “Mighty Rearranger.” From this platform, Sensational Space Shifters developed. The event will again take place July 12 – 14, 2013 at Louisville’s scenic, award-winning Waterfront Park.
The Flaming Lips, Alabama Shakes, Animal Collective, Old Crow Medicine Show, Grace Potter & the Nocturnals, Big Boi, Matt & Kim, Purity Ring and more than 50 others will round out the lineup. Louisville, Ky. – AC Entertainment and The Forecastle Festival are excited to announce the initial lineup for the 10th anniversary of Forecastle. The three-day event will take place July 13 – 15, 2012 at Louisville’s scenic, award-winning Waterfront Park. The final Forecastle lineup will total more than 70 bands on five stages. As previously announced, Saturday headliners My Morning Jacket are collaborating with the producers on the sights, sounds and experiences of the entire festival weekend.
The 2012 event marks the 10th year of the festival, which began in 2002 as a small, free outdoor neighborhood event celebrating the Louisville music community. Since then, it has evolved into the one of the country’s premier multi-day summer festival destinations focusing on music, art, and environmental activism.
