The Forecastle Festival will return this summer led by Louisville hometown heroes My Morning Jacket; soulful breakout star, Sam Smith; southern rock heavyweights, Widespread Panic; and indie veterans, Modest Mouse. The three-day music celebration, now in its 13th year, will take place July 17–19, 2015, at the award-winning Waterfront Park, a sweeping green space on the banks of the Ohio River framed by the skyline of downtown Louisville.

Hailing from Bowling Green, Kentucky, and New Albany, Indiana, respectively, Cage the Elephantand Houndmouth add to the stellar regional talent atop this year’s Forecastle bill, the former currently working on their follow-up to the Grammy-nominated Melophobia and the latter eyeing a March 17 release of the highly-anticipated Little Neon Limelight via Rough Trade Records. Forecastle Fest Announces 2014 Lineup

The Forecastle Festival returns this summer led by hip hop royalty, Outkast; 21st-century rocker Jack White and alt-rock renaissance man, Beck. The three-day music celebration, now in its 12th year, will take place July 18-20, 2014, at the award-winning Waterfront Park, a sweeping green space on the banks of the Ohio River, framed by the skyline of downtown Louisville.

The Replacements, Ray Lamontagne, Band of Horses, Spoon, Nickel Creek, Dwight Yoakam, Twenty One Pilots, Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings, Local Natives and Gary Clark Jr., plus more than 40 others round out the lineup. Forecastle Announces 2013 Late Night Show Details, Includes Wick-It the Investigator, Houndmouth, The Wheeler Brothers and more

LOUISVILLE, KY – The Forecastle Festival is excited to announce the addition of several late night shows to its acclaimed lineup for the 11th annual three-day music set to take place July 12 – 14, 2013 at Louisville’s scenic, award-winning Waterfront Park.

Wick-It the Instigator and Eliot Lipp will kick off the late night shows on Friday, July 12. Saturday, July 13 will bring up-and-comers Houndmouth hosting a night with special guests Night Beds, The Wheeler Brothers and more.

Both separately-ticketed late night shows will take place on the historic Belle of Louisville steamboat, the oldest operating steamboat in the U.S. Read more

LOUISVILLE, KY – The Forecastle Festival, Louisville’s three-day festival celebrating the best in music, art and environmental activism, is bringing a slice of the Kentucky Bourbon Trail directly to its fans with a lineup of Bourbon offerings, featuring an expanded Bourbon Lodge, bourbon-inspired culinary experience and much more. The 2013 Festival is set to take place July 12-14, at Louisville’s scenic Waterfront Park.

The 2013 Bourbon Lodge will feature over 12 Kentucky Bourbon brands uniting to offer over 30 Bourbon selections, including Four Roses, Maker’s Mark, Woodford Reserve, Old Forrester, Early Times, Willet, Old Pogue, Heaven Hill, Corsair Distillery, Wild Turkey, Town Branch and Jim Beam, among others. Forecastle Festival Single Day Tickets On Sale Friday, Daily Schedule Announced

LOUISVILLE, KY – The Forecastle Festival has announced its daily lineup and will offer single day tickets beginning Friday, April 12 at Noon EDT through ForecastleFest.com, Ticketmaster.com and all Ticketmaster retailers.

A limited number of $60 single-day tickets will be available. Prices include all applicable fees and service charges. A limited number of weekend passes are currently available for $165, but will increase to $180 when the current allotment is gone. Both tiers of weekend passes are expected to sell out in advance of the festival.

LOUISVILLE, KY – The Forecastle Festival is excited to announce several additions to its acclaimed lineup for the 11th annual three-day music celebration, including Robert Plant & The Sensational Space Shifters and more. The event will again take place July 12 – 14, 2013 at Louisville’s scenic, award-winning Waterfront Park.

Robert Plant and his amazing new group of conspirators the Sensational Space Shifters will be performing songs from every era of Plant’s storied career. Before his recent projects in Nashville with Alison Krauss and Band of Joy, Plant worked alongside the very interesting force, “Strange Sensation,” recording the critically acclaimed, multi-Grammy nominated albums “Dreamland” and “Mighty Rearranger.” From this platform, Sensational Space Shifters developed. Now together this band will dig deeper and more intensely, always twisting and turning, bringing the past into a brilliant technicolor present. Read more
