LOUISVILLE, KY – The Forecastle Festival, Louisville’s three-day festival celebrating the best in music, art and environmental activism, is bringing a slice of the Kentucky Bourbon Trail directly to its fans with a lineup of Bourbon offerings, featuring an expanded Bourbon Lodge, bourbon-inspired culinary experience and much more. The 2013 Festival is set to take place July 12-14, at Louisville’s scenic Waterfront Park.

The 2013 Bourbon Lodge will feature over 12 Kentucky Bourbon brands uniting to offer over 30 Bourbon selections, including Four Roses, Maker’s Mark, Woodford Reserve, Old Forrester, Early Times, Willet, Old Pogue, Heaven Hill, Corsair Distillery, Wild Turkey, Town Branch and Jim Beam, among others. LOUISVILLE, KY – The Forecastle Festival has announced its daily lineup and will offer single day tickets beginning Friday, April 12 at Noon EDT through ForecastleFest.com, Ticketmaster.com and all Ticketmaster retailers.

A limited number of $60 single-day tickets will be available. Prices include all applicable fees and service charges. A limited number of weekend passes are currently available for $165, but will increase to $180 when the current allotment is gone. Both tiers of weekend passes are expected to sell out in advance of the festival.

LOUISVILLE, KY – The Forecastle Festival is excited to announce several additions to its acclaimed lineup for the 11th annual three-day music celebration, including Robert Plant & The Sensational Space Shifters and more. The event will again take place July 12 – 14, 2013 at Louisville’s scenic, award-winning Waterfront Park.

Robert Plant and his amazing new group of conspirators the Sensational Space Shifters will be performing songs from every era of Plant’s storied career. Before his recent projects in Nashville with Alison Krauss and Band of Joy, Plant worked alongside the very interesting force, “Strange Sensation,” recording the critically acclaimed, multi-Grammy nominated albums “Dreamland” and “Mighty Rearranger.” From this platform, Sensational Space Shifters developed. Now together this band will dig deeper and more intensely, always twisting and turning, bringing the past into a brilliant technicolor present. Read more

LOUISVILLE, KY – The Forecastle Festival is excited to announce the initial lineup for its 11^th annual three-day music celebration, featuring Grammy Award winners The Black Keys, alongside The String Cheese Incident and the Avett Brothers leading the festival’s rich, eclectic offerings. The event will again take place July 12 – 14, 2013 at Louisville’s scenic, award-winning Waterfront Park.

The Flaming Lips, Alabama Shakes, Animal Collective, Old Crow Medicine Show, Grace Potter & the Nocturnals, Big Boi, Matt & Kim, Purity Ring and more than 50 others will round out the lineup. Louisville, Ky. – AC Entertainment and The Forecastle Festival are excited to announce the initial lineup for the 10th anniversary of Forecastle. The three-day event will take place July 13 – 15, 2012 at Louisville’s scenic, award-winning Waterfront Park. The final Forecastle lineup will total more than 70 bands on five stages. As previously announced, Saturday headliners My Morning Jacket are collaborating with the producers on the sights, sounds and experiences of the entire festival weekend.

The 2012 event marks the 10th year of the festival, which began in 2002 as a small, free outdoor neighborhood event celebrating the Louisville music community. Since then, it has evolved into the one of the country’s premier multi-day summer festival destinations focusing on music, art, and environmental activism.

DEVO, Cake, She & Him, Umphrey’s McGee, Against Me!, Grace Potter and The Nocturnals, Manchester Orchestra, and many more bands will join previously announced artists The Flaming Lips, Widespread Panic, Spoon, Drive-by Truckers, Bassnectar, Minus the Bear, a reunited Cap ‘n Jazz, and more. Also making their Forecastle debut is a rare daily / nightly performance by “Cirque Berzerk” – a Los-Angeles based circus extravaganza combining aerial acrobatics and French burlesque with punk rock influences. Clues to the lineup are posted on the site.

For a limited time, discounted three-day passes are available for $135.00 via www.ticketmaster.com/promo/k7p7ut. The password MUSIC allows access to the special price, which is valid through March 31 at 1 p.m. At that time, the price for a three-day pass will increase to $150.00, with single-day passes at $60.00.

The 9th annual Forecastle Festival will take place July 9th – 11th in downtown Louisville, KY, and combine over (75) bands and electronic artists, regional art installations, the Sustainable Living Roadshow, outdoor extreme sports park, panels, speakers, films, and much more.

Last July, the 8th Annual Forecastle Festival drew more than 23,000 patrons from across the country to Louisville’s Riverfront Belvedere, with headliners Widespread Panic, The Black Keys, The Black Crowes, along with seventy-five other bands and DJs on four festival stages.
