Phish has announced a number of upcoming summer live dates in addition to their unprecedented Baker’s Dozen run at New York City’s Madison Square Garden. The new dates include three shows at Chicago, IL’s Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island (Friday, July 14th, Saturday, July 15th, and Sunday, July 16th), one night stands at Dayton, OH’s Nutter Center (Tuesday, July 18th) and Pittsburgh, PA’s Petersen Events Center (Wednesday, July 19th), as well as the band’s seventh annual Labor Day Weekend run at Commerce City, CO’s Dick’s Sporting Goods Park (Friday, September 1st, Saturday, September 2nd, and Sunday, September 3rd). On March 3, preeminent banjoist Noam Pikelny – considered by many to be the finest of his generation — released Universal Favorite, his Rounder debut. In celebration of his release, Pikelny will embark on a solo tour that commences this week in Bellingham, WA. Stops include Denver, Atlanta, New York, and Los Angeles, and conclude in Nashville in early April.

Pikelny is a founding member of Punch Brothers, the renowned multiple Grammy nominated group. He was the recipient of the first annual Steve Martin Prize for Excellence in Banjo and Bluegrass in 2010. Read more
