Record Store Day Is Friday, 11/29 – Exciting New Titles Set For Release At Independent Record Stores Nationwide

Record Store Day has taken care of your holiday shopping today with the release of the list of albums, singles, CDs, cassettes and books that you’ll be wrapping up to give and get this year, all available in limited editions only at independent record stores starting on November 29, AKA Black Friday. Since 2010, the organizers of April’s worldwide celebration of the record store, Record Store Day, have worked to shift the perception of Black Friday as a mass-produced, low-as-you-can-go event, concentrating instead on a list of special releases that highlight how great gifts from a record store can be, and celebrating the kick-off of the holiday rush at independently owned neighborhood businesses.

The Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra (CSO) announced that best-selling and most-awarded female gospel artist of all time, CeCe Winans, will perform with the Orchestra in the Classical Roots concert at Music Hall on Friday, March 6, 2020. A popular annual event, Classical Roots brings together 150 singers from churches throughout the region to perform with the CSO, celebrating African American musical traditions. This year’s concert will be led by Cincinnati Pops Principal Guest Conductor Damon Gupton.

BLINK Entertainment Schedule – 10/10-10/13

BLINK is one of the largest light, art and projection mapping events in the nation.

Returning October 10-13, 2019, this free four-day event takes place in downtown Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky, spanning more than 30 city blocks and crossing the historic John A. Roebling Suspension Bridge over the Ohio River. BLINK will turn the region into an outdoor art museum with large-scale projection mapping installations, murals, and immersive art.
