Singer and songwriter Dave Simonett has announced Spring tour dates in support of his upcoming album Red Tail, which will be released on March 13th via Thirty Tigers. Widely known and loved as the lead singer, guitarist and songwriter for the revered roots band Trampled By Turtles, Red Tail marks the first time that Simonett has recorded a collection of solo material under his own name. When Olivia Frances walks on stage, her infectious positive energy and powerful stage presence captures a room. After winning four distinguished awards in 2018 alone, this pop/folk artist released her full-length, fan-funded, third album Orchid in June described by the Worcester Telegram & Gazette as “irrepressibly sweet — and eminently likable.” Blending nature-inspired lyrics with ethereal vocals and organic guitar picking, Frances’s unique “sunshine-story-pop” sound is a flowery mix of Colbie Caillat’s catchy acoustic melodies, Joni Mitchell’s unique vocal arrangements, and Florence and the Machine’s energetic, emotive performance.
Guitar legend ALBERT LEE first came to prominence during a 1964-68 stint in British Blues and R & B stalwarts Chris Farlowe’s Thunderbirds. After working in the UK bands for touring country acts such as Bobby Bare and Skeeter Davis, Lee’s next full- time berth was two years with the UK answer to the Flying Burrito Brothers and Nitty Gritty Dirt Band-Head , Hands, and Feet. His reputation grew and session work blossomed, including appearances on “The London Bo Diddley Sessions” for Chess and Jerry Lee Lewis’ “The London Sessions”.
