The Electricity EP follows 2018’s “You and Me” – the Holcombs’ first single together since Ellie stepped back from touring and recording with Drew Holcomb and The Neighbors six years ago upon the arrival of the first of their three beautiful children. In addition to “You and Me,” the couple embarked on a full tour together last year, continued their annual tradition of Neighborly Christmas Shows in Nashville and Memphis this past December, as well as collaborated on-stage and behind the scenes at Moon River Music Festival which Drew founded in 2014 and continues to curate.
Both artists have claimed considerable success in their own right. As a solo artist, Ellie Holcomb has released two #1 albums (iTunes Christian), won a Dove Award for Best New Artist, and recently, penned a children’s record Sing: Creation Songs (#1 Billboard for Children’s Music) and her debut children’s book, Who Sang the First Song? (#1 New Release for Christian Children’s Book). As Drew Holcomb and The Neighbors, Drew has released several critically-acclaimed albums including the #1 Folk album Souvenir,
played on Jimmy Kimmel Live! twice – most recently last summer with JOHNNYSWIM to perform their collaborative single “Ring the Bells,” and has shared the road with everyone from Ryan Adams to John Hiatt to Willie Nelson.
