New Pet Store to open in OTR this Friday with Live Music from Wild Mountain Berries

CINCINNATI – (June 27, 2012) – Another new business will open its doors in Over-the-Rhine this Friday, June 29, 2012, in conjunction with Final Friday. The Grand Opening Celebration, from 6-9 p.m., will feature food and wine tasting and live music by Wild Mountain Berries.

Pet Wants, at 1409 Vine Street, is a second location for owners Michele Hobbs and Amanda Broughton. The first location, at Findlay Market, opened in 2010. Pet Wants features house-made wet/raw/frozen food for pets, made fresh once a month in Ohio, from its own gluten-free formulas. Its formulas do not use corn, wheat, soy or animal by-products of any kind. Free delivery is available throughout the tri-state.

The new Pet Wants Kitchen on Vine Street will cater to dogs who want to “dine-in”. The front porch motif was installed by local artist Stacey Vallerie and will be used for pet owners who want to order off a special dine-in menu for their pets. Store hours are Monday 11-4, Tuesday-Thursday 11-7, Fridays 11-8, and Saturdays 11-4.  The Findlay Market location is open Tuesday through Sunday from 9-6.
