The Jauntee have just announced an extensive National Spring Tour for 2019. For fans, anticipation for this has been mounting since their well-reviewed Fall tour where they played alongside Leftover Salmon, Twiddle, New Orleans Suspects and many others for a majority of the two legs.
The band has been keeping it close to their new home in Boulder but have been staying busy making mountain town appearances with Kyle Hollingsworth Band and Papadosio along with their Front Range headlining plays. This tour will take the band back through Texas into the Southeast and up North returning them to their old stomping grounds before heading home to Colorado. Dates announced include a show in Houston with Jazz Is Phsh, a couple plays with Andy Frasco & The UN in Birmingham and Nashville, and a number of Festivals including Meadowgrass and Spread The Word Music Festival.
Switching gears a bit from the last few tours, a good amount of dates this time around will be “Evening With” shows including Boston, Asheville, Burlington, Cincinnati and more. These shows have many fans ecstatic for a full night of grade A improvisation. The Jauntee will also play what might possibly be the last show ever at Green Mountain College in Poultney, VT, as the school has announced their doors will be closing after this semester. Other stops on the run include Norman, Dallas, Atlanta, Greenville, Baltimore, Virginia Beach, and Albany to name a few. This Spring, don’t miss The Jauntee at a venue near you.
