Fat Mike Presents Camp Punk In Drublic With NOFX, Rancid, Pennywise, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones & More June 1-3 At Legend Valley Music Center

fest

Summer is right around the corner, and with it comes the debut of Camp Punk In Drublic! Created from the mind and liver of NOFX’s frontman Fat Mike, this one-of-a-kind destination event has punk music lovers and craft beer enthusiasts rejoicing. As the only punk rock campout in the country, Camp Punk In Drublic will feature performances by NOFX, Rancid, Pennywise, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, and more, along with a weekend of craft beer tastings (available for purchase), campfire stories from punk legends, and a slew of attractions including Fatty’s Midnite Matinee late night movie theater, carnival games, and much more. Located right outside of Columbus, OH, Camp Punk In Drublic will take over Legend Valley in Thornville, OH on Friday, June 1 (Friday Kickoff Party), Saturday, June 2, and Sunday, June 3, wrapping up the first leg of the national Punk In Drublic festival tour with a once-in-a-lifetime experience for punk rock and craft beer fans.

A limited quantity of Early Bird tickets for Camp Punk In Drublic Camping, Craft Beer & Music Festival go on sale Friday, March 30 at 10:00 AM ET at www.PunkInDrublicFest.com/camp. Specially priced Weekend Festival Admission passes will be available for only $50 (plus fees) while supplies last on Friday, March 30 from 10:00 AM ET through 11:59 PM ET. Additionally, the Friday Night Kickoff Party is FREE for up to 4 campers with each tent or RV camping purchase, or non-camping attendees can purchase an Early Bird Friday Kickoff Party Pass in advance for $19 (plus fees) or for $40 at the door.

NOFX’s Fat Mike explains, “The thing about camping is that really nothing can go wrong, because everything is already wrong. Punk rockers don’t really know how to camp. They know how to wear hoodies, drink, and lean on each other. The good thing is that we got a lot of generators and an unlimited supply of kegs (some are even full of beer). Hey Coachella and Bonnaroo and Burning Man…Watch what happens at CAMP Punk In Drublic. I can almost guarantee that our festival is gonna be way lamer and stupider than yours…That’s the point!…Well, I think that’s the point. Wait, punk rock doesn’t have a point?

Let me be clear: A rabbi, a priest and a few thousand punk rockers go camping in Ohio…Sorry, no punchline. But there will be 17 great bands, 2 mediocre bands, and 5,000 kegs of beer. What could possibly go wrong?”

Rancid’s Tim Armstrong says, “Fat Mike gathered up some of my favorite bands and people to hang out in the middle of Ohio. Rancid can’t wait to be a part of the first Camp Punk In Drublic. We’re looking forward to telling stories around the campfire with you guys!”

Pennywise’s Fletcher Dragge adds, “Wait, I get to run amok with a bunch of drunk punk rockers into the wee hours of the night? Have you ever seen a 300 lb man do a belly flop on a pup tent? Well you will…game on! People who are insane enough to stay through the night better get their troops together…me and Fatty are coming for you!!”

The current daily band lineup for Camp Punk In Drublic is as follows:

Friday, June 1 (Kickoff Party): Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, Jello Biafra and the Guantanamo School of Medicine, and Guttermouth, followed by Campfire Stories with Fat Mike and NOFX.

Saturday, June 2: NOFX, Pennywise, Goldfinger, Strung Out, Mad Caddies, Face To Face and Bad Cop / Bad Cop, followed by Campfire Stories with Keith Morris, Jello Biafra and friends.

Sunday, June 3: Rancid, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Sick Of It All, Lagwagon, The Bouncing Souls, Street Dogs, The Interrupters

Don’t expect things to die down once the music is done; this party goes well into the night! The venue will be open from 7:00 PM to 2:00 AM on Friday, June 1, 12:00 PM to 2:00 AM on Saturday, June 2, and 12:00 PM to Midnight on Sunday, June 3, and will be jam packed with all types of activities. Campers, get ready to check out the But Wait, There’s More festival attractions and march your lazy asses across the festival to Way The F*ck Over There for even more debauchery.

Way The F*ck Over There is home to:
“The Brews”: What most of you are here for… A massive craft beer sampling area offering tastings from local and national breweries with more than 200 craft beers to choose from (must have Tasting Pass and be at least 21).

Campfire Stories from the Road: featuring some of the most horrific and hilarious tales from the likes of NOFX, Jello Biafra, Keith Morris, and a sh*t ton more. Campfire venue opens at 11:45 PM to after 1:00 AM on Friday and Saturday nights. The crowd will get to ask Fat Mike why he prefers dresses over jeans and such. Think a punk rock version of Inside The Actors Studio around a campfire in the beautiful hills of Ohio ‘til the wee hours of the morning.

Flea’s Market: Full of stuff you probably don’t need but know you will want.

THE UnFAIR is where the freaks are unleashed. Come play games of chance to win a teddy bear that will probably end up in a box in your garage, or watch a guy pierce his eyeball. THE UnFAIR boasts our spin on our summer camp favorites like Dunk the Punk tank, Postcards From The Edge where you can send postcards back home, and big ass lawn games.

The Dodgeball Arena that will host Fans Against the Bands dodgeball games and tug o’ war…don’t forget your sweatbands for these epic battles, as well as other games (including a massive tug o’ war against your friends if you have any).

Plus Eat at Joe’s, a late night food hall with artery clogging gut bombs, where the only thing organic and gluten free is the sh*tty paper plate you eat it on.

Craft Beer Summer School: Enjoy craft beer seminars and talks from top brewers and industry experts at the BEER EDU stage.
At the top of the festival grounds is:
Fatty’s Midnite Matinee: Which lights up after hours, and is where you can go to chill the F out. Pull up a thrift shop sofa or a blanket and watch punk rock movie favorites until the wee hours on a giant movie screen. Our cheap asses even added surround sound.
Attendees 21+ with festival tickets can purchase a Saturday or Sunday craft beer Tasting Pass in advance for only $17.50 (plus fees). The Tasting Pass will allow entry into The Brews, where during the tasting, attendees can enjoy 15 3 oz. craft beer tastes, choosing from over 200 craft beers from dozens of top breweries. Some of the participating breweries include Stone Brewing, BrewDog, Lord Hobo Brewing, Great Lakes Brewing, MadTree Brewing, Avery Brewing, plus many more local and national breweries.

In 2017, Fat Mike teamed up with craft beer pioneers Stone Brewing to brew their very own limited release Stone & NOFX Punk in Drublic Hoppy Lager for the debut of the Punk In Drublic festival. This marked the first time ever that Stone had worked with a musician for a can release. The lager sold out quickly in 2017, and now 2018 marks the first time that Stone will re-release a specialty beer with a musician. Stone & NOFX Punk in Drublic Hoppy Lager will be available at Camp Punk In Drublic, in California, in this year’s Punk In Drublic concert states, and select surrounding areas. Use the Stone Brewing beer finder to search specific locations: https://find.stonebrewing.com.
