This was probably one of the best DSO shows I have seen in recent memory. All the pieces seemed to fall into place, the crowd, the lights, and the band just looked liked they were having fun on stage. The fact the band chose to play a setlist from one of my favorite Grateful Dead decades, the 1970’s, made it all the more magical. The band played with a grace and beauty tonight that almost made me forget it was 2012. One of my favorite songs, Me & My Uncle, was the highlight of the first set for me personally, but the second set was almost undrescribable it sounded so good. I think it wouldn’t be hard to say that the entire second set was a highlight.
