To Sing With You Once More will be an evening of traditional folk and roots music from around the country, featuring members of The New Lost City Ramblers, John Cohen and Tracy Schwarz as well as Cincinnati locals, The Tillers. All three stages of The Southgate House will be featuring various national folk acts throughout the evening.
The event will raise money for research and awareness of the cancer known as multiple myeloma. The disease claimed the lives of folk legend Mike Seeger, as well as Lori Oberst, mother of Tillers singer Mike Oberst. The concert will be held in their memory. Proceeds from the show will be donated to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation and the Mike Seeger Scholarship Fund.
The Tillers will also be releasing their newest album at the event. Twenty percent of the album sales during the benefit will be donated to each receiving charity.
