The Roomsounds play old-school rock n’ roll reminiscent of Big Star and The Faces and will release their new album, Elm St. on March 25.
The Dallas Observer thought the band’s 2012 self-titled debut was “consistent with their Keith Richards and Tom Petty worship, an unpretentious album of purist rock ‘n’ roll riffs.” Rodney Hall, owner of FAME Studios in Muscle Shoals, AL heard the album through a friend and dug their sound so much he invited them to FAME to record their sophomore album.
The Roomsounds will be on tour through the spring in support of Elm St. including stops in NYC, Atlanta, Chicago, Nashville and SXSW. A full list of tour dates can be found below.
