Multi-platinum selling rock band KINGS OF LEON will embark on a major U.S. headlining tour this week in support of their critically acclaimed album Mechanical Bull that will travel through 30 plus cities, beginning in St. Louis, Missouri with headlining sets at Lollapalozza and Made in America festivals.
Consistently ranked as one of the top live bands in the world, Kings of Leon are taking a new approach including new staging, lighting and creative elements that take their arena act to amphitheaters for a more intimate fan-focused experience.
“We have some of the most amazing, supportive fans in the world. So this time around on tour, we want to be close. We want to give them an awesome show, but with a more intimate inclusive feel. We just want to thank them and play for them,” said the band.
For the first time ever, Kings of Leon will let the fans in on their set list selection – one song, one city, one time only – a guaranteed unique experience at each show. The band will give fans the opportunity to choose a song of their choice to be performed live as part of their concert. The “Song For The City” program kicks off this week and fans can go towww.nachovision.com to help the band brainstorm and choose the song. Fans can also let the band know what song they want to hear by tweeting @kingsofleon with #kol [songname]. Watch the following link to learn more. http://youtu.be/MltQ4ExnK-8
