The first Metamora Mandolin Gathering is planned to take place on March 29 in Metamora, Indiana.  The focus of the event will be to help a beginning mandolin player learn more about their instrument and how to use it.  Workshops will be taught by many of the region’s finest players, luthiers specializing in mandolins will be on hand to discuss building and construction.  On Saturday evening a concert will be held featuring The Sternwheelers of Cincinnati, OH and many of the other instructors and participants.

Registration Event Fee is $60.00 if made prior to March 15, 2014

the fee will be $75.00 for registrations made after March 15 and at the event

Four workshop sessions (two morning and two afternoon) can be chosen for each registration

The hat will be passed for tips at the evening concert

Food for the day is not included in the price of registration, but will be available for purchase at the event

Instructors for the event to include Dave Bagdade, Joe Bauer, John Bowyer, Scott Cardner, Will Kimble, Moriah Haven Lawson, Bob Lese, Brad Meinerding, Scott Risner and David Slates.
