In advance of the announcement of the full MidPoint Music Festival (MPMF) schedule on Wednesday, August 14, major sponsor Bioré® Skincare proudly highlights pioneering female-led acts who are headlining stages during this year’s 12thannual event.
Bioré® Skincare, a Kao USA Inc. beauty care brands, is partnering with MPMF for a third consecutive year in a continuing effort to bring attention to the prominent role women play at the festival.
Throughout the September 26-28 festival, Jackson Street in Over the Rhine will be known as the Bioré® Strip, with female-led acts performing on two stages inside of the Know Theatre venue.
Bleached (Los Angeles) will headline the Know Theatre main stage, presented by Bioré® Skincare, on Thursday, 9/26. National acts San Fermin, On An On, PHOX, Détective, Saturday Looks Good To Me, Potty Mouth, Doe Eye and The Melismatics are also scheduled to perform at Know Theatre over the weekend.
In addition, MPMF and Bioré® Skincare are excited to announce The Breeders Day Party in Washington Park on Saturday, September 28. Music begins at 1pm with Chicago’s latest breakout band Twin Peaks followed by Tweens (Cincinnati), Gauntlet Hair (Chicago), Foxygen (Olympia, WA + NYC) and The Breeders playing “Last Splash” in its entirety beginning at 7pm.
Warpaint (Los Angeles) performs for the first time ever in Cincinnati and headlines the Grammers Tent on Friday, 9/27. Daughter (London, UK) headlines The Taft Ballroom on Saturday, 9/28.
And Midpoint Music Festival and Bioré® Skincare are pleased to announce the addition of Portland’s seminal post pop-punk band The Thermals who will headline The Taft Ballroom on Thursday, 9/26.
