Everyone knows about South by Southwest, the music festival / showcase / clusterf*ck in Austin, Texas that’s happening this week.
Well, for bands that are either too broke, too poorly connected, too cynical about the SxSW circus, or too whatever to attend, there is now Couch by Couch West.
Basically, the band sits down on a couch (or something similar) and performs a song on camera. Nothing fancy. One camera, no cuts. Then they upload it to http://www.couchbycouchwest.com for it to be viewed by all the music fans who are either too broke, too poorly connected, too cynical about the SxSW circus, or too whatever to attend.
The studio version of this song will appear on Magnolia Mountain’s upcoming, self-titled fourth album, available on July 27, 2013 on CD and Vinyl LP from http://www.magnoliamountain.net, or via digital download from http://www.thisisamericanmusic.com.
