Organizers of Cincy Psych Fest are excited to announce their first Cincy Psych Showcase to take place Friday December 21, 2012 at MOTR Pub, 1345 Main St, Cincinnati, OH. The CPF “End of the World” Showcase features psych bands Troubadour Dali from St. Louis, MO and Heaven’s Gateway Drugs from Ft. Wayne, IN and is free of charge (21+ only).
The Cincy Psych Fest “End of the World” Showcase is the first of a year-round series of events featuring psych-minded bands selected by the Cincy Psych Fest organizers and held at various music venues around the city.
About Cincy Psych Fest:
Inspired by the Austin Psych Fest and dedicated to the re-surging genre, Cincinnati Psych Fest aims to pair bands steeped in the sounds of 60’s psychedelia, with those bending and melting the genre’s barriers in a more modern approach. The inaugural Cincinnati Psych Fest was held on October 20, 2012 at Mayday in Northside and featured two stages of psychedelic and garage rock music performed by 9 local and national acts. The date and venue of the second annual Cincy Psych Fest is set to be announced before the end of the year.
