CSO’S One City, One Symphony Initiative Returns November 2017 Exploring “Speak Truth”

The Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra and Music Director Louis Langrée are pleased to reveal details regarding the reprisal of the popular One City, One Symphony initiative, designed to bring people together through music. The Orchestra, along with community partners, will provide opportunities for audiences to connect and discuss the music as it relates to relevant societal themes, leading up to the CSO’s performances on November 25-26 at 8 p.m. at Music Hall. In their earliest days, Moon Hooch were known for epic dance party raves they would spontaneously throw on New York City subway platforms.  So raucous were these events that the group was eventually banned from the Bedford Ave L train stop in Brooklyn by the NYPD.  The band’s new video for “Rough Sex” is a visual metaphor depicting how Moon Hooch has risen out the subways to the rooftops above and not even the mighty NYPD can shut them down anymore.
