I never really cared to learn about myself — my flaws, my strengths. I’ve been sober for long enough to where I see things coming back to me. I see the fog of the chaos is only getting thicker, and that scares me. My life seems to be more ‘normal’ nowadays … less interesting, if you’re asking me. Music is my last escape. Hookahville returns home to Frontier Ranch in Pataskala, Ohio, located just outside of Columbus. There the rolling hills and woods provide the perfect setting for camping, music, and fun for hundreds of music lovers and their families over the holiday weekend.
Original member Dave Katz explains the importance of this milestone: “Twenty-five years is a long time to be doing anything. With rock bands, only a fraction make it, so to get to this point in our career is really special. It’s very humbling, and we feel very lucky that people still enjoy our music. Soul Step Records Announces “Cincy Brewers Series” With Krystal Peterson & The Queen City Band partnered with Madtree Brewing
Soul Step Records started four years ago with a singular mission in mind: to release music from artists who may not have the funding to get their music pressed on vinyl. Since our inception, Soul Step has worked tirelessly to fund and release eleven different vinyl releases nationwide, with five more releases coming in 2016.
On September 4th, Soul Step Records releases the first in their “Cincy Brewers Series.” This vinyl release series will pair Soul Step Records, a Cincinnati brewery, and a Cincinnati musical artist together to create an evening where music and local craft beer will come together to celebrate their shared home, local art, and culture.
