Ten local neighborhoods will receive the All-Star treatment this summer as part of the Community Organizing Committee’s (COC) outreach initiative. The COC will infuse All-Star excitement into these All-Star Neighborhoods with a Baseball Across the Region ceremony, T-Mobile All-Star Fan Fest tickets, official All-Star Summer signage and All-Star Neighborhood celebrations. These celebrations are unique to each of the selected neighborhoods and are being envisioned and created by civic and residential leaders within each area.
Winners include the neighborhoods of Madisonville, East Price Hill, Clifton, West Chester, Walnut Hills, Pleasant Ridge, Green Township and Cheviot in Ohio as well as Bellevue and Taylor Mill in Kentucky. Read more

Heartless Bastards have released a new song, “Black Cloud” from their soon-to-be-released album Restless Ones (Partisan). Billboard premiered the song yesterday alongside a revealing Q&A with singer/songwriter/guitarist Erika Wennerstrom.
Jeremy Pinnell, Northern Kentucky’s son from across the river, is a soft-spoken man, born to an area that is equal parts Southern hospitality, Northern attitude and Midwestern charm. Raised from humble beginnings of singing in church and learning the guitar from his father, his craft quickly made heads turn and rooms fall silent. But with his departure from home at 18 to venture into the unknown with only his music, this young man soon found himself surrounded by the demons of the world he used to try and sing away.
Nitro Fidelity in association with Kentucky Speedway are excited to announce the inaugural NiFi Festival. The three-day festival that offers abundant on-site camping will be taking place August 28 – 30, 2015 at the Kentucky Speedway in Sparta, KY, centrally located near Cincinnati, Louisville and Lexington, and within easy driving distance of a number of major municipalities including Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Charleston, Knoxville, St. Louis, Nashville, Indianapolis and Columbus.
