George Porter Jr. has reconstituted his band the Runnin’ Pardners, and they are playing the best that funk has to offer. Nashville, TN – January 26, 2010 – Sugar Hill Records is proud to announce the upcoming release of Feast of the Hunters’ Moon, the debut album from Portland, Oregon-based Black Prairie. As described by dobroist Chris Funk, the band’s sound “bridges the music of Clarence White and Ennio Morricone” in a way that defies genre characterization. Read more

The former Dallas singer-songwriter moved across the country to Hartsville, South Carolina, where he set up a new home base and continues to tour. He called his move/tour Texodus. Since then Sneed has toured vigorously across the country, with little break in between each trip. Read more

Applications are now being accepted for CAMP MMW 2010. CAMP MMW will once again be held on the beautiful grounds of The Full Moon Resort in New York State’s Catskill Mountains and is open to music lovers 16 years and older.
By day, campers will be engrossed in master classes, workshops and ensembles, personally led by John, Billy and Chris.
