Kelley McRae grew up in Mississippi but called Brooklyn home before teaming up with guitarist Matt Castelein in 2011, when the duo traded in their NYC apartment for a VW camper van and hit the road.  Thousands of miles and hundreds of shows later, they’ve toured coast to coast in the US, played to packed rooms across Europe, sold-out the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, and taken the stage at major festivals like Riverbend in Tennessee (headlined by Buddy Guy). The Ridges are an orchestral folk rock band from the Appalachian college town of Athens, Ohio. Rooted in the collaboration of Victor Rasgaitis (guitar, vocals) and Talor Smith (cello, vocals), the duo is supported live by a rotating cast of musicians adding classical and folk rock instrumentation ranging from cellos, violas, violins, upright bass, and horns to banjo, mandolin, accordion, and drums. By augmenting their aggressive, high-energy performances with haunting, all-acoustic instrumentation, The Ridges craft their own unique brand of indie rock compositions. It’s a distinct sound that overflows with the dark romanticism of their ominous namesake – Athens’ abandoned Victorian-style insane asylum where the band recorded their self-titled EP. Read more

Brooklyn based indie folk outfit Swear And Shake are thrilled to announce an August Tour throughout the US and Canada, including festival stops at Mile of MusicYarmony Grass,Wanderlust, and Campfire Outdoor Adventure and Music Festival. The tour will also include Swear and Shake’s first visit to Colorado.

Swear and Shake is fronted by the guitar wielding Kari Spieler and the guitar and banjo playing Adam McHeffey. The two expertly blend their vocals, melodies, and confessional lyrics. Rounding out the quartet are old friends Ben Goldstein on drums and Shaun Savage on bass guitar. Read more
